Rooney and Kate like each other a lot.
They don’t always love each other, but they always tolerate one another.
We were all working in the office a couple of weeks ago and Rooney let out a big sigh.
He does that a lot, so we ignored him.
Then he sighed again and we finally looked.
There was Kate, sitting on top of Rooney, looking out the window.
God bless Rooney, he just sat there quietly tolerating his Kate.
I should probably pay more attention to Kate when she’s in the office, but I had a bunch of work to do and I thought we had done a good-enough job of baby-proofing the office.
When I finally noticed, she had climbed onto the footstool (which she and Rooney use to look out the window) and then jumped from there onto Mark’s office chair (she’s done it a couple more times since – with adult supervision).
Now, Mark says, we just need to teach her how to make fonts.
